Abstract
Digital computers are rapidly becoming a necessary tool for the electrical engineer in his study of the complex circuitry of our day. Training in the use of the digital computer has become commonplace at most educational institutions at the college level. The Direct Current Circuit Analysis Program presented here has grown from a desire to further familiarize electrical engineering students with the powerful tool they have available to them in the digital computer. The Direct Current Circuit Analysis Program was developed with the primary purpose of serving as an educational aid to the students of electrical engineering at the College of Engineering, Marquette University. With the addition of remote access computer terminals to the computer facilities at the University, the need for computer programs corresponding to classroom studies was increased. With the aims of providing an additional tool to the student of electrical engineering and stimulating the students to develop an appreciation of and familiarity with the remote access computer environment, the computer program hereinafter presented was written.
