Abstract

The purpose of this work is to determine a simple means of controlling the output of a Gunn diode using a parallel plate resonator. Previous controls require a closed cavity resonator. The parallel plate resonator is an open cavity resonator. The desired method of analysis involves the use of feedback control theory rather than the theory of electromagnetics.
