Abstract
This study was undertaken as a part of the work being conducted by the Surface Mount Technology Group at Marquette University and supported by Allen Bradley Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The scope of this work was to develop and test a numerical method for predicting the intermetallic layer thickness in diffusion couples for complex temperature-time cycles from isothermal data.
