Abstract
Although zinc phosphate cements have been used extensively in dentistry, little is known of their setting mechanism, structure and mechanism of deterioration. The major objects of this research have been to determine these characteristics by correlating the findings obtained through x-ray diffraction and electron-optical techniques.
