Abstract
This research is conducted to determine a methodology to reduce wasted resources by improving the quality of workmanship. The approach used has been to determine the limits and importance of the problem as well as some partial solutions already undertaken by others. These are contained in Chapters I and II. Chapter III contains a brief summary of behavioral theories which may be applicable in arriving at a solution. Chapter IV sets forth the objectives based on the analysis in Chapters I, II, and III. Chapter V sets forth the methodology to achieve the objectives of the program. Chapter VI is a brief synopsis of a program initiated in a manufacturing company to test the methodology. Chapter VII contains the evaluation of the test along with conclusions and recommendations.
