Abstract

The objective of this work is to present numerical methods for solving a general two-point non-linear boundary value problem. Five techniques are studied in detail: the finite difference method, the finite integral method, the integral equation method, Greenspan's method and the initial value method; Each method is applied to a specific two-point non-linear boundary value problem. The various methods are also evaluated for their efficiencies and advantages.
