Abstract
The objective of this thesis will be to develop a special purpose digital computer program to solve a two-point boundary value problem with integral constraints by employing the shooting method with optimization. A general discussion of the boundary value problem with integral constraints is presented in Chapter I. The transformation of the boundary value problem to an initial value problem and finally to an optimization problem is presented in Chapter II. Finally results computed for various test case problems are presented and discussed in Chapter III.
