Abstract

The recent awareness of Cumulative Trauma Disorders has lead to an influx of 'ergonomically correct' tools into industry. When considering the purchase of these tools, Purchasing and Engineering personnel are forced to rely on subjective evaluation as the basis of their procurement decision. This study establishes quantitative parameters to aid in the purchase of these tools.
