Abstract

A technique for displaying digitized images via a printer with dot matrix capabilities is researched and developed. The input image information is mapped to output values with a pseudo first order difference equation. Evaluations of this technique and previous methods are made using qualitative measures of image quality. The algorithms are written in Pascal and are run on the VAX11-780 system. The output is printed on a Data South (DS180).
