Abstract
The structural sandwich is an attractive structural design concept in the field of Structural Engineering. The importance of it's applications is being recognized more and more. However, there are still some problems have never been considered before. The purpose of this thesis is to study the bending behavior of circular sandwich plates subjected to a partial distributed load. The effects of the shear rigidity of the core and the variation of the intensity of applied load upon the deflections and. the bending moments are discussed.
