Abstract
It is significant to find a new material, and it is also significant to find a new use of an old material. Calcium chloride as a common chemical, since 1979 has developed a new use --- as an additive to stabilize cold recycling asphalt concrete pavement. Although several in-field tests obtained good results, there are still a few problems remaining to be studied.
