Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility of using a nonlinear compensator in a system in which there is nonlinearity due to coulomb friction and saturations. One purpose of the introduction of nonlinearity is the compensator is to extend the range of use of the system to large inputs. The interaction of the nonlinearities and consequent effect on the system is to be studied.
