Abstract
Bioengineering design is the various mental procedures and associated application systems that are involved in creating new designs toward human Biology. The text consists of identifying the problem and the method of arranging in patterns the discoveries of science, past and present, patterns designed to fit the evermore intricate world of industry. Finally, conceiving the solution in detail and translating the conception into hardware form: the prototype. The improvement of the hospital bed was an interesting, challenging project, stimulating many minds in the academic and industrial worlds. Personal satisfaction was acquired by being a part of such a project.
