Abstract
An empirical mathematical model has been developed to simulate the temperature profile of an infrared-convective oven. This model is used to predict the steady-state oven temperatures of the four heating chambers inside the oven as a function of eight independent controls of the oven. The model can be used to enable a process engineer to quickly establish the necessary oven temperature.
