Abstract
This research has been performed under the guidance of Dr. James Rice in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This project aims to provide a fundamental finite element analysis engine, which will be a solid platform for the further development. For this purpose, the matrix operation algorithm and the boundary reduction algorithm are built up. All programs for this research are programmed with Microsoft Visual C++ version 6.0 in an object-oriented manner.
