Abstract
The purpose of this investigation was to devise instrumentation adequate to accurately record the movements of the mandible between certain reproducible positions; to compare the movements recorded on a sample of subjects with excellent occlusion with those possessing various malocclusions (as classified by Angle); and to spacially locate these positions relative to the temporomandibular joints by the use of lateral cephalometric Roentgenograms.
