Abstract
Many efforts have been made to increase denture retention through the use of chemical substances interposed between denture and soft tissues. This research will focus on the measurement of retention, in vivo, of dentures that have been treated with a siliconizing substance and relined with a soft acrylic polymer. Comparisons will be made between these values and data obtained with untreated dentures.
