Abstract
The object of this study was to adapt suitable electronic instrumentation which would accurately record certain speech sounds and to record these sound patterns on a sample of subjects which exhibited excellent occlusion and speech patterns. This means of investigation was then used in an effort to demonstrate variations in sound patterns found in subjects with malocclusion when compared to the group of excellent occlusion.
