Abstract

It is a natural assumption that skeletal growth has an underlying symmetry and that skeletal development in one part of the body should bear some relationship to development in another part. In this study, an attempt was made to determine whether or not the skeletal maturation age of children, as determined by the wrist radiograph, would be more reliable than the chronological age for use in a cephalometric analysis.
