Abstract
This investigation was undertaken to study maxillomandibular relationships in a horizontal plane at the occlusal level in an anteroposterior direction. It was thought that the existence of a Median Occlusan Position proposed by Sicher might have scientific basis. The electromyograph was used to study temporal muscle function during various mandibular movements and positions.
