Abstract

This investigation was undertaken to give a greater understanding to the nature of Centric Occlusion Position in the primary dentition. It was though that the descriptions in the literature, of centric occlusion contact in the primary dentition, was less than adequate. It was also thought that the patterns of attrition in the primary dentition as they occur had not been adequately described. Patterns of attrition and centric occlusion contact were analyzed and compared using accurate study models, and interocclusal records.
