Abstract
The correction of a deep overbite in a non-growing individual can be extremely challenging, especially if the patient's profile is convex before treatment begins. Bite opening mechanics often result in further clockwise rotation of the mandible and an undesirable increase in the facial convexity of the patient. The purpose of this thesis was to study what happened when the bioprogressive utility arch method was used to correct deep overbites in adult patients and to determine if their incisors were intruded and if clockwise rotation of the mandible had occurred as a result of treatment.
