Abstract
This study was designed to investigate the reliability of two methods used for describing the occlusal plane, to determine the extent of error associated with locating the occlusal plane cephalometrically using each technique, and to investigate the changes which occur in the orientation of the occlusal planes as a result of orthodontic treatment as expressed by either cephalometric method.
