Abstract

Clinical failure of maxillary canine and anterior three-quarter crowns is often related to inadequate preparation resistance form. The study which follows attempts to show that modification of a preparations proximal, axial grooves may help to improve resistance form and enhance the longevity of the three-quarter crown and the tooth it protects.
