Abstract
The purpose of this study was to objectively evaluate the rate and degree of speech adaptability to dental prostheses. Utilizing suitable electronic instrumentation to accurately record certain speech sounds, permanent spectrographic records were obtained and analyzed. Patients receiving dental prostheses were studied on a serial basis for a varying length of time.
