Abstract
Several studies have been conducted in recent years to determine blood loss associated with oral surgery. These studies were primarily concerned with the blood lost during the surgical procedure. This study was undertaken to determine the amount and significance of the post-operative blood loss in the twenty-four hour period following the surgical procedure when general anesthesia was used.
