Abstract
The complete and comprehensive knowledge of the fractures of the mandible is rapidly becoming of more vital importance to the doctor of dental surgery. This is because the modern high speed of living with the advent of the automobile, aeroplane and other speed vehicles has made the fracture of the mandible a comparatively common accident. These fractures are not only frequent in number, but complex in their nature as well.
