Abstract
Resuscitation may be defined as the restorarion [sic] to life or consciousness of one apparently dead. The act of returning one to whom a general anesthetic has been administered from a subconscious to a conscious condition has been known to civilized man for many generations . It is only recently ho ever that definite facts have been established. It can be said that we no have standardized the act of resuscitation by several methods which have been accepted by the medical profession in their entirety.
