Abstract

It is the purpose of this thesis to consider the detection and correction of abnormalities of the jaws and their processes insofar as they are related to the construction of good dentures as well as to discuss the proper removal of teeth for immediate denture service. In short, it is to describe the preparation of the mouth for the prosthetist according to the methods used at the present time by many of the world's foremost oral surgeons.
