Abstract
In selecting artificial teeth for edentulous cases, the choice is made for the upper anterior teeth only; for full sets with regularly carded anatomical bicuspids and molars and with articulating lowers may be obtained by simply ordering the anterior mould and shade. The selecting of artificial teeth presents three problems: (1) to select a mould harmonious with the face; (2) to select teeth of the proper size; and (3) to select the proper shade. The methods of tooth selection suggested here are made possible by researches of J. Leon Williams of New York and by the production of teeth in harmony with his findings.
