Abstract

Pain and dentistry have long been synonymous terms. In the conditions with which a dentist is brought in contact nothing is of more credit to the dentist or of more satisfaction to the patient then the prevention of pain. Fear of the pain connected with the dental chair is the major cause of people possessing teeth and mouths in such deplorable condition as are seen daily by the dentist.
