Abstract
In the following thesis we purpose to consider briefly the micro-organisms that produce oral infections and the reactions of the body to these micro-organisms. Then we shall consider a few of the many diseases that are associated with such infections and refer briefly to some experimental work that has been done in the connection. Finally we shall study the blood chemistry and morphology and hereditary factors to see whether there is a causal relation between dental infection and systemic disease.
