Abstract
During the past decade there has been an increased understanding and a growing theological emphasis on the doctrines of the Priesthood of the Laity, Corporate worship, and the Mystical Body of Christ. The numerous works augmenting Pius XII' s Mystici Corporis have served to focus attention on the Church as a living organism, as Jesus Christ extended and prolonged in His members down to the end of time. The liturgical movement has become ecumenical in proportions, leading all to a clearer concept of the Christian joined in Christ in worship, adoration, sacrifice and praise.
