Comments

Proper seating of the cast full coverage crowns on prepared teeth is of considerable importance for the physiologic suitability and longevity of those restorations. An inadequately seated crown is likely to expose a relatively greater area of cement at the margin to the oral environment. This may lead to a greater degree of dissolution of the cement, possible microleakage and even loss of retention.
