Abstract
The present work, is a study of the effect of ultraviolet light on pure organic compounds. In particular, it is a qualitative and quantitative study of_ the decomposition products of ethyl acetate as effected by ultraviolet radiations, together with the development of experimental apparatus. In as much as the work required special apparatus, much of the time was spent in the development and construction of such apparatus.
