Abstract
Today, almost 2700 years after the heroic deeds of this Hebrew warrior, we read of another tale of deliverance and heroism, that of the vocation, the battles, the triumphs and martyrdom of Joan of Arc, peasant girl of Domremy and deliverer of her beloved France. May 1920, Pope Benedict XV, solemnly enrolled her among the canonized Saints of God as supreme token of admiration.
