Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to determine whether or not the use of the workbook is justified, and if so in what a good technique consists. Several workbooks have been examined in this attempt, and books and magazines secured from the Milwaukee Public Library and the Marquette University Library have furnished the writer with much of the material used.
