Abstract
In the past decade, the forward pass has been looked upon as merely a threat play. It was used only as a last minute attempt to score. But with the change of the style of play, the forward pass has become an almost inevitable part of the game.
In this Thesis, I have attempted to show that the rise of the pass was not meteoric, but rather that it was a result of a long process.
I have gone into detail regarding fundamentals of passing, forward pass offense, forward pass defense and in conclusion, have given my aspect of the forward pass in the future.
