Abstract
While numerous editions of the poems of Lord. Byron, biographies of him, and his letters and journals are available, there has been little mention made of that portion of his poetry known as ’The Oriental Tales.’ It seems rather strange that this has been neglected, coming as it did at one of the critical periods of his life, and being, in itself, a series of very fine narratives.
