Abstract

Extra-Curriculum Activities occupy a place in every junior high school. The widespread interest in extra-curriculum activities has led to the study of various phases of the problem.

The apparent need for something to satisfy pupils with abilities unsuited to the prescribed traditional curriculum, turned my interest especially toward extra-curriculum activities since such a program can at least in a measure make adjustment for the individual differences in our students. The desire for further information as to the values, the place demanded, and the time allotted to extra-curriculum activities in our schools were motives which stimulated me to reading and study on this phase of our educational program.
