Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to give a survey of modern language teaching.
The values of modern language studies are discussed in the first chapter. The objectives are treated in the following chapter. The third chapter is on the content of the modern language course. Realia is the purpose of the next chapter. The last chapter is on general considerations.
