Abstract
In the Physics laboratories of Marquette University there are two North American Phillips X-Ray Powder Diffraction Cameras. The purpose of this thesis is to place these cameras into operating order, and to check the results obtained from them. Special Telechron motors were fastened to the frame of the cameras to rotate the samples one revolution per minute, adaptable ways were machined to rest the cameras on.
