Abstract

The object of this paper is neither to contribute any new information, nor to criticize any work that has been done on the liver of the frog. The aim is merely to give a brief summary of the gross anatomy, the progress achieved in certain cytological fields, and the function of the liver in digestion and as a dietary factor.
