Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to give a history of The Milwaukee Leader from the time of its inception to America’s entrance into the World War on April 6, 1917 in which the growth of the paper and its development is depicted. An attempt to portray the editorial policies and the treatment of news of importance during this time, has been made in this thesis.
