Abstract
The work of promoting good speaking and of obtaining accuracy in the expression of thought is one of the most important aims to be accomplished in teaching. The ability of the child to use accurately his mother-tongue in speaking is of great social and cultural value. It helps him to adapt himself socially to his environment and to think and express himself clearly. It gives him confidence in himself and thereby, ease in appearing before an audience, through his fluency in conversation gained by an ever-increasing vocabulary and a knowledge and use of correct English.
