Abstract
In the following paper the author has endeavored to give a short history of Argentina's struggle for self-determination. In so doing the history of Argentina has traced from the earliest stages of Spanish colonization, the revolt of all Spanish colonies in America, and the history of the Republic to the latter part of the nineteenth century.
