Abstract
Twelve years have elapsed since the World Powers engaged in a great conflict. Nationality and sanity have taken the place of war frenzy. Bias, hate, and prejudice should have lost their sting. A paper on the newspaper's part in war propaganda would be difficult to write during a war or just after one, because it would be difficult to treat sanely; now, however, the vast world public can see impartially how efforts were made to forge public opinion.
