Abstract
Doctor Lew Sarett believes that poetry is the record of beauty and it 1s implications, which are usually social; which highly observant men have seen and the prose facts of the world in which they live. He went further to explain that poetry records the works of Divine Providence. The poet records the things which he consciously captures; such as the affright of beauty and it's implications and the social implications which interest him• Insight, according to Sarett, is the key to good poetry; it may simply be a record of beauty.
