Abstract
The reliability of this thesis is based upon the factual and theoretical knowledge of men who are considered the greatest authorities on central banking in the United States - including such writers as Carter Glass, the father of the Federal Reserve Act and finance expert of the Senate; w. Randolph Burgess, an officer in the Reserve System, along with R. L. Weissman, former financial editor of the American Mercury. Liberal use has been made from the above authors, along with many others who are cited in the formal bibliography.
