Abstract
Language is the one universal means of expressing human thought and reeling, and the strongest bond of human fellowship. It is man's most effective agent in business, his neediest resources for pleasure, his most sympathetic medium of comfort and consolation, his most stimulating spur of aspiration and ambition and his best aid to the higher achievement of intellect.
